Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Leigh-Anne Hall (soon to revert to McGrath, but that's a different blog post) and I am an Artist. I didn't always identify as such, but now I can't see describing myself any other way. It's as though I have finally broken free of the bud and am now blossoming into a flower. As corny as that sounds, it's the only way I can describe it. I have always had artistic tendencies and often surrounded myself with artistic types. But I was always too self conscious and would rather just fade in the background and observe.
Every now and then my talents would jump out. Like literally. I remember sketching an picture of an Angel in a prison cell. It looked exactly like what I described. I had used shading and perspective and made sure the viewer could see textures. I don't know how I did it. To this day. But I did. Over the years more pop outs of talent would occur and then more frequently. Then next thing you know I have more paintings than I know what to do with and my art supply box is now a room. I guess that means I'm an Artist now.
I hope you look around and bring something home and if you don't see anything jumping out at you today, come back!! New stuff is added all the time and the "completed" rack fills up in the studio!!
